Another One Bites the Dust

Rewrite 10 of August Rock is complete, including a many times rewritten first page. I will now let it rest a few days before I read through it again. I hope to submit to another agent when I'm back in the UK in two weeks - no I haven't heard from the one I emailed a submission to......

Yay Well Done!!! We'll be submitting around the same time, then... maybe we should start a blog called 'Agent Racers'! (er, not really) Best of luck with it.

Agents eh? I gave up on them long ago. Tried producers for a long time too but you're lucky if they read your script at all. Keep going girl. Or do as I do and write on the internet.

Hi Liz,

Thank you for visiting my blog. Good to hear from you.

I have a few questions.
1. How many times do you rewrite your work? And how do you know when it reaches its finished state?
2. How long do you leave yoru work before revisiting to make changes?
3. How long since you submitted your work to the agent?

I sent my work to a dozen agents only one of whom expressed an interest but didn't take it in the end. In the meantime, I found a publisher... but at least you're not relying on the post!

Leigh, I've answered your questions on today's blog. BTW, we have one place left on the Novel Racers - were you interested?
