With the words happy flowing I found myself becoming deeply frustrated by the wonky word meter. Then I wondered if it was just the blog layout that wasn't accepting it........and voila. New look and no wonky meter! Not sure if I like it as much but it doesn't have to stay forever.
I now have a dilema.......new wip is going so well but I have had a crit back on ACH not the RNA NWS report but another. I have two open doors waiting for ACH. Do I run with this crit now and polish it so that I have submissions out there again? Or do I keep with the new? Or maybe just until I receive the NWS report?
If you are wondering what the crit said.......it was positive. I have suceeded in turning the story around! Yes, there is work to do but thankfully nothing major..........
What would you do?

It's a difficult one. I suspect the sensible answer is to polish and then sub while writing this one, but I'd be inclined to do what I felt most passionately about!
Excellent news about the positive crit Liz. (Can you tell us who you used?)
Personally, I would work on finishing ACH, if you trust the crit.
If you have two open doors, you want to get it out there.
FWIW
I'm in a similar postition, but with less than three weeks until I finish the WiP, I'm holding off.
Knowing me, in your place, I'd try to do both at the same time and stick my head in a bucket any time my hair caught fire... :-)
I suppose I could start the polish - but I don't want to stop the flow - but Steve I don't think I could work on the two - I'm pretty good at multi-tasking but that's only if they are involved in the same arena.......
Michelle, you're right I must get work out there again. When is Frankfurt over? Also showing my ignorance here FWIW?
JJ - the crit was by Caroline Upcher aka Hope McIntyre......
Congratulations on the positive crit.
I would probably try to do both at the same time, but maybe that's not the right way to go. I do think that you should get it out there again though.
Best of luck.
Thanks Debs :-)
Me, I'd go with the new until you get stuck, then return to ACH. I don't think you've given yourself enough distance on it yet to see it with rested eyes.
With me, I KNOW there will come a time when I grind to a halt on the wip, so having something to return to is a comforting thought.
