Bank Holiday Rain

I might the only person in the UK enjoying the rain today but the sound is lovely as I sit here. Sorry I have been away so much. The rush up to leaving and then staying with friends meant that I have been off line for a while. I was twitchy at first but managed to survive.

It is lovely being back in my home. All is not well here - the shower is disintegrating and the garden is sprouting weeds from every corner but overall it is bliss. So come tomorrow I need to contact my builder do some research for what will replace said shower and the floor which is now warped do to leakage. That plus all the others things I needed to do. The most important of which is too love my boys who have grown on me again - yes they have grown - it wasn't me shrinking.

So my blogging will remain bad I'm afraid. The revision is still progressing and I'm am still pleased with the progress. It is now reaching the stage where the heaviest layering will take place. I will confess to being a bit frightening but am pushing forward.

So how's is your bank holiday?

Hey Liz. No bank holiday for us - just a normal day. Spent it trying to make cards without much success!

Have fun and see you next month.

Enjoy your boys! When my youngest got sick at school, I thought about you with your two boys, even younger, separated by such a distance.

Work, work, work, work, work. Just keep going with the revision - one step at a time - you'll get there.

Spent most of my bank holiday editing my latest MS. The writing is fun but the rewriting is hard work because it's not so creative. Then my daughter and her boyfriend came round for tea.

welcome to a very damp and windy cornwall, Liz! We watched the Sound of Music for the umpteenth time and wept all the way through!!

Well it's wet in sunny France aswell so I am not very happy but glad to hear you are enjoying being home. Enjoy your time with your boys and don't fret about showers or weeds.

Hi Glad you are back to blogging.
Sorry to hear about your garden, but like you we had the wind and rain. But unlike you, we had no power so no writing or blogger.

I was hoping to get so much do, but no:-(

At least I should be happy to know our power was returned five hours later.

Best wishes,
Annie
