New Mantras

Some days you get what you need and JA Konrath's post here
provides a bucket load of what I need but two resonated for today and will become my new mantra. Can you find any on his list that work for you?

"Write when you can. Finish what your start. Edit what you finish. Submit what you've edited. Repeat. "

"There's a word for a writer who never gives up... published "

There are some great lines, aren't there? I like the ones you've chosen along with 'Maybe you can't win. But you sure can try.'

Just what I needed this morning, thanks!

Maybe it's because I'm feeling fat and sick from all that Easter chocolate, but I especially liked this one: "Praise is like candy. We love it, but it isn't good for us. You can only improve by being told what's wrong." Great list!

Hi an excellent link and just what I need at the moment as I try to get going again. I like the two you picked and also "we are all in the same boat so start rowing".
Excellent advice.
