Back in the UK again and it's cold........when I checked into the hotel it was 0 Celsius......quite a change from 27c I left in Dubai this morning!!!!
Tomorrow it's time for mince pies and carol concerts. I can't wait.
I promise to catch up with blogging and life in the next few days.......really I do promise!

Ooooh...chilly weather! It's eighty here, but there's talk it might cool down soon. Enjoy your holiday!
Never mind, Liz. Soon you'll have the best of company to warm you up!
Merry Christmas in Blighty!
Glad you arrived safely, Liz! The thing I love about this weather, although it's bitingly cold, is when you look outside and it's so bright and crisp with the frost sparkling on everything :)

I once spent Christmas with my cousins in Australia. One of them said, "It must be strange for you, spending Christmas in temperatures of 30°, instead of the 15° you get in England at this time of year."
I think, perhaps, she'd never been to England in the wintertime.
Welcome back, Liz.

Welcome back!! And if you fancy meeting for a coffee to warm yourself let me know.
Gloves and scarves are a must - also a little scraper to get the frost off the windscreen in the mornings. That's the worst thing.
You must really feel it after the heat. Brrr.
Enjoy the pies and carols:-)
Mince pie, mince pie! We always had mince pie at Christmas in my family, but it's not all that popular in the US, so now if I want it, I usually have to bake it and I'm the only one who eats it :)
Hi Liz, great to have you back and yes it is cold but so far it is not raining, grey, oppressive and miserable and thats ok by me. Who wants to lay odds on a white Christmas?
Everything falls by the wayside during the holidays.
I too am finding it difficult to stay abreast of all my favorite bloggers.
It's Christmas time. That's all the excuse you need.
