NaNoWriMo begins tomorrow and because I am foolish and had so much fun last year...I'm doing it again. I'll be writing ENEMY - save a stranger from the sea, he become your enemy...
Of course I'll be working on ridding THE CORNISH HOUSE of all the sighing, head shaking and sitting up straights that I can managed too...

Absolutely!
I'm bowing out of NaNo this year. I'm too deep in my WIP to split my focus. =o( And I have a really good idea for it, too. Maybe this year, I'll do a NaNo type thing in December. Good luck, Liz.

Ah, do your characters constantly sigh, shake their heads, and sit up straight? Mine tend to swing around, draw up short, blow out long ragged breaths, and blink.
Cat - I don't blame you but it is actually good fun even though I am now a day behind!

BE- if I had another project that I was writing I couldn't do nano either...this is just a stretching of the writing muscle before I begin the big rewrite of August Rock. I think nano in December is good but I would lose half the month to Christmas...
Thanks Francis...you should try it...I was sceptical until last year when I realize the pure fun of just writing and not caring about plot or publication...
Debs - you deserve a break and good luck with the editing.
CS - have just finished...and yes shaking their heads was the biggest offence! Maybe I should pinch a few of yours as replacements...I've used blink before but not the others :-)
