A Different Pace

I'm back in the sun and humidity at the moment and I wonder where the last few weeks have disappeared. Everything seems lost in a haze of feverish activity and too many name tapes. But as i wrote that I had the feeling that life is just that way. This morning I clearly feel very reflective -  this of course could be that i am planning DH's 50th birthday and DS1's 18th and DS's 16th....these sort of milestones tend to make on reflective and also want to make me scream I'm not that old....

Of course all of this could just be me trying to settle into the different pace of life here in Dubai. So while I'm working on that and clearing the fog of jet lag (out of practice) I'll leave you with a few photos of the last day on the water...(there is something in the change of clouds and colour of the sky that says that September has arrived....)

Oh Liz, I think it's that time of year. I hope you settle back 'home' again soon. Cx

Liz, so sorry we did not get to meet - but it sounds as if you were already on your way to Dubai mid week and our time whizzed by, with the family staying early week and a birthday.

Your pictures bring back such happy memories - lucky you to live in Cornwall. Hope to see you soon in London. P x
